What is tennis?

Badminton is a racket sport played between two people (in singles) or two teams in which two players each (in doubles) on two halves of a rectangular court divided by a net in the middle. The opponents are on either side of the net and take turns hitting the ball over the net towards the opponent. Each side has only 1 touch to bring the ball to the other side. The inning is over when the shuttle hits the ground, or there is an error caught by the umpire or line judge.
This game is best played indoors, as this ball is very light in weight and is often swayed by the wind.

What is the Difference between Badminton and Tennis?
Tennis court size is bigger than a badminton court
Tennis courts are 78 feet (23.77m) long and 36 feet (11m) wide, while badminton courts are 44 feet (13.4 m) long and 20 feet (6.1 m) wide. Thus, the size of a tennis court is almost twice the size of a badminton court.
Grid size relative to the ground
The nets of both these sports are also different. The net of a tennis court is 36 inches above the ground, while the net of a badminton court is 60 inches above the ground.
The weight of badminton racket is lighter than tennis racket
Compared to the weight of the racket, tennis requires a racket weighing from 250 to 340 grams and for badminton, it is usually less than a hundred grams from 80 to 100 grams. Tennis uses a hard-felt ball while badminton requires a shuttlecock.

For tennis is usually played outdoors while badminton is a sport that is mainly played indoors.
Foot movements during competition
